GIGA-GRID is a pre-engineered extruded aluminum grid system designed for heavy-duty ceiling installations in IT environments, in compliance with TIA-942-C, ISO/IEC 22237, and CEI EN 50600 standards
GIGA-GRID heavy-duty ceiling grid for Data Center is made of shaped, painted extruded aluminum profiles with integrated tracks for easy suspension of cable ducts and busbars using threaded rods.
Aluminum panels, pre-painted or post-painted, upon request, with a special blend of epoxy and polyester resins in a wide range of RAL/NCS colors, no less than 70 microns thick, placed on Giga-Grid profiles flush with the frame, equipped with panel pusher springs, a 55×20 “L” perimeter wall angle, and perimeter retaining springs. The system can be equipped with air-tight gasket upon request.

Performance-oriented design: each profile is conceived to minimize bulk and maximize cable routing efficiency, contributing to a tidy and safe environment; suspension kits for both the primary structure and secondary systems can be positioned anywhere along the track for total flexibility.
Operating pressure tightness: upon request, the system can be equipped with air-tight gaskets to minimize air leakage and prevent the exchange of gaseous agents and contaminants between the plenum and the IT hall. This ensures the precise pressurization required to optimize cooling unit efficiency: a key factor in achieving a superior PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), the industry benchmark for Data Center energy performance. The GIGA-GRID system is currently undergoing air permeability testing according to UNI EN 12114 to certify its pressure-tightness
GIGA-GRID heavy-duty ceiling grid for Data Center is covered by the scope of application of the harmonized standard Uni En 13964. Upon request, systems can be provided with a project-specific seismic report in compliance with NTC 2018, signed by a qualified engineer and calculated to the required loads and local seismic acceleration.
